How do you celebrate your birthday?

How did you celebrate it growing up? Do you miss having kid type birthday parties?

On my birthday I just get a few gifts from my mom and I might go out to eat that night.

I just get a few gifts and then I get to pick dinner for the evening. When I was a kid it was the same, though I would go over to my grandmother's house on both sides of the family when I was growing up.

My parents have just always let me choose where we go out to eat on my birthday. Never do much more than that.

During my younger years, my mom usually organizes this birthday celebration until I grow older, and the same thing happens with my other siblings. Now, I just celebrate it with a simple dinner with my immediate family because my mom is in heaven with my old man now.

One of my milestone birthdays was celebrated at an Institute for poor kids. I had a ball of a time. I do not celebrate other birthdays

I mostly celebrate with my family without much hustle and bustle so its a calming affair and we do have snacks and sweets and of course birthday cake
