Some Canadian educators have discovered they might have been the ones with a lesson to learn.

Unhappy with what he called hurtful and untrue comments about the school principal posted by a 10th-grade student in the yearbook, teacher Ken Piercy picked up the scissors and cut out the boy's picture and comments from every one of the 150 copies before they were sent out.

But the flood of public reaction to the act was so angry, even threatening, according to the principal, Lori Carpenter, that a reprinting has been ordered -- kind of.

That's what they get for going crazy and deciding to censor stuff. Censoring something will never fix the problem. It will only serve to make people upset.

perhaps she should have proof read it before allowing it to be printed

that is a serious fail lol the yearbook shouldn't have gotten out without the principal checking it if they knew that there was going to be comments in there.

Yearbooks are supposed to be a positive thing so hurtful comments should not be published in the 1st place. The yearbook teacher is supposed to proofread everything before it gets sent off to be printed anyways.
