Changing username/avatar

How often do you change your username and/or avatar? Does is bother you when others do so?

I don't do it very often. And it doesn't really bother me. However I get a little confused when someone does change their name and I'm not recognizing who they are at first.

I never change my user name and only change the colour of my avatar occasionally.



If folks change their user name too often, it starts to get a little confusing in my opinion. It doesn't bother me at all if someone changes their avatar.

Ive only changed my username once in the past 4 years. I change my avatar all the time though.

I must say, I did prefer your old user name to be honest, but I guess that's just me lol.

Avatar I like to change often as the mood strikes me.



When users change their user names often it does become confusing until you get used to it.

Avatars... I tend to change when I find a cool one, or if I'm bored. But I don't change them much.

Same way. This is actually the first time I've had an avatar on any forum other than when I was on SMF for a brief period. As for the username, I don't really change it that often. Only if I'm in the mood for something different, and that rarely happens.

in 6 years of being a forum hound i have never changed by username........9 times out of 10 is Beowulf anyway which has become my sort of online alter ego



as for avs/sigs.........somewhere i change them every day cos i get bored with them.....just checked, my file of avs and sigs runs to 6 gig

My avatar's changed at least once a year though.

I never change my name when I have joined a forum, though I dont use the same username on every forum I visit.

I change my avatar whenever I can be bothered, which isnt very often

I go by two different names but I hadn't changed them for years.

(Like here I'm Silverpaw while on another I'm Acid-Flier)



I change my avatars quite a lot! There is just so many to use that I've either made myself or found in the icon communities I follow. Whenever I get bored of my last icon or found another I really liked I'll change them.



I don't mind these getting changed often by other members. As always name changes get confusing but I'll remember the new names eventually! I tend to call them by the first username I remember them having out of habit though.
