Checking their phone

Have you ever checked your significant other's phone? To see who they've been calling or texting or whatever?



Do you think this is ok to do? Would you let them see your phone if they wanted? If they didnt allow you to see their phone would you think they have something to hide?

Never have checked any of my girlfriend's phones, because that's really none of my business. I'm not a nosy person, and I wouldn't have the desire to. You either trust them or you don't. It's a lame thing to do, because that just shows insecurity and doubt in the relationship. I'm not saying that it's going to ruin a relationship, but it can. May cause jealousy and turn harmless conversations and blow them out of proportion if they don't know what you're talking about.

I admit Ive gone through old girlfriend's phones. But its only because they demanded to see mine. So if they get to look through my phone, then I should be able to go through their's.

One time me and a girlfriend traded phones and she cleared out everything from her phone before handing to me... If thats not suspicious, then I dont know what is. Needless to say we got in an argument.

Im smart though, any friends I had that were girls were saved under guy's names and deleted text's after I read them. Not that I was cheating, I just wanted to save my self some drama.



Of course not caring about the other persons phone is the best way to go but some times the situation cannot be avoided if the other person is determined.

I think this is so wrong!! Its none of peoples business. My ex used to do this to me, Used to get me so angry.

I don't check hubby's email or text or phone...if it's something I need to know, I'll find out sooner or later.
