What is your favourite kind of cheesecake? Have you ever made cheesecake yourself?

I love making cheesecakes and my favourite cheesecake is either raspberry or chocolate. Next month my boyfriend's friend is having us over for a celebration BBQ (they just got married last month) and I am going to make them their favourite dessert; a chocolate cheesecake. And though it does take a long time to make the dish it is totally worth it.

My uncle used to make a killer cheesecake. He's retired now but was a pastry chef in his working life. The family benefited from his profession at various occasions. I do like cheesecake, usually with some strawberry or cherry sauce rather than just plain. However, like all sweet stuff, I go easy these days (type 2 diabetes).

Ahh what is a sweet that you enjoy?

There are many sweets I enjoy, but cheesecake bothers me a little and makes me feel slightly sick. Even if it didn't, I still don't prefer it.

Some of my favourite desserts are probably ones most people have never heard of here, and even those with similar names are quite different.
For example, one of my favourites is walnut cake, but it is very different from what you might be thinking of.

I love it! My favourite is probably caramel or hazelnut-flavour.

I've never made it myself, but maybe I should try!
