There is a national chicken council? :P

Anyways, the end of the video said there is really no shortage, kind a low supply. It happen to other things and it quickly sort itself out.

I'm relieved the supply can eventually catch up to demand. I love chicken.

I'm not really a big fan of chicken. I much rather have ham, which had its shortage already.

I remember that KFC had a shortage problem over here in the UK at one time. It led to this amazing video that became a bit of a meme -

Did you know....

There are about 26 billion chickens in the world, which is more than 3 per person.

Doesn't sound like too much of a shortage globally, maybe they can just relocate some of them :)

Hadn't even known about the shortage. Never noticed either. I haven't found the prices of chicken meat going up in the grocery store.

Hard to believe, as posted above the production of chicken is one of the most prolific and easy out there and that happening in the US is like thinking the former Soviet Union lacked oil back in the days.

What i think is that they're creating opportunities to raise prizes.

Chicken shortage? Chicken are the most mass produced animal in the world, so I doubt there are any real shortages going on. Sounds like marketing BS to me to justify price increases.

I've always wondered how the hell they manage to source so many chicken wings. Like, I understand there are lots of chickens worldwide but just one pack of chicken wings would need a few dead chickens.

Went grocery shopping yesterday and there was plenty of chicken to be found.

I heard that there is a scarcity of eggs in the USA before. It also happens in my country for not having enough onions in the market.
