What's on the menu?

Usually a ham or beef dinner of some kind, I always find something good to eat this time of year.

Breakfast is cinnamon rolls and “pig in a pig” (bacon wrapped sausages) while opening presents. And lots of hot coffee.

Appetizers: spinach dip and bacon wrapped figs

Dinner: roast beast (beef), sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts and green bean casserole.

Dessert: pumpkin pie, chocolate pie and pecan pie.

Getting food in just in case that the UK goes into lockdown and we have backup. Are anyone else doing the same ;)

Sounds amazing! That name for the bacon-wrapped sausages is completely new to me. We call them pigs in blankets!

For us, it will be Roast Turkey, Roast Pork, the usual veg (carrots, potatoes, parsnips), stuffing balls, and some random sides. I'm looking forward to some calamari bites as my side.

And then some sort of chocolate-based desert.

Sounds delicious and Buen provecho!
