Clear bags for concerts

Do all concert venues require a clear bag for your items you bring in...things women might normally carry in a purse?

I haven't been to a concert in a long time but I never remember this being a thing the last time I went. Of course, a lot has changed since I last went and there are a lot of things in place now to prevent violence and even terrorist attacks which could be why something like this may have been implemented at some point.

Everywhere I've been requires it now. Local college sports games I go to. Local professional sports games. Concerts here in Nashville. Some are more lax than others, but it's definitely a rule.
