I will never in my life understand the people who legitimately would rather we have trump. Biden isn't perfect, and half the time he is lost in his own head, but at least he isn't a traitor. At least he's not a businessman who runs being a president like it's a side hustle. I just...it really baffles me. Even if you strip away all the politics from Trump, you're still left with a deplorable, piece of shit excuse of a human being. It seems like we live in a time where even if we had a 25 year old, down to earth, smart, bright guy who genuinely wanted to change things for the better, people would still prefer trumpet. They'd still prefer their own country go up in flames.

Mind you, this is coming from a non political person. It does not take a political person nor rocket scientist to see the true menace trumpy is.

Sounds like your opinions are shaped by TV/media. I don't think Biden has a more likable personality, they are both equally bad(but Biden has said more racist stuff). Heck, we know he is weaponizing agencies to go after political rivals after all. That doesn't sound like someone that's not so called "deplorable." What makes you think Biden isn't a so called, "piece of shit?" Because TV news touts him as such a nice guy and fails to report on him or constantly makes excuses for him? I can guarantee you, your opinion of Biden would be different if the media attacked him as hard as Trump.

But one big point , for me wanting Trump over Biden is that Biden is a war hawk. His team can't help themselves meddling in other countries and wasting our money. He has Bush era people on his team that should NEVER be in any government position ever again. If having Trump meant we wouldn't be wasting 100s of billions in foreign aide I would be okay with that.

Now that's not to say I think Trump is the best choice. On both parties the best choices are those who never have a chance because the establishment won't allow them to have fair exposure.

I honestly can't even believe he's still in the conversation. After the shitshow of his last presidency I honestly thought he'd be out of the conversation completely by this go around but I guess I had too much faith in the Republican Party to move on from the Trump Era, lol. Won't be making that mistake again.

As for the part in the OP about just sitting this one out and not voting, absolutely not. I'll be there doing my part to make sure we never have to see Trump in office again.
