For those of you who have been on a team... Explain to us how your coaches were like?

I had P.E teachers that were just horrible. I remember one specifically was like Mr. Woodcock (from that movie Mr. Woodcock).

Over the 5 years I played football I played for 2 teams, both had two people who would help with the training. The first team I played for the main one was a dick and never really gave me a chance or anything but the other one did.

Then when I moved clubs to my second team both were fine and didn't push us too hard. Had it rather easy compared to some other teams.

And I've mostly had lazy PE teachers, so it's all good

Coach story....

Back when I was on a weekly newspaper in Illinois I was covering college basketball as a stringer.

Indiana came in and beat the living hell out of Illinois. The final score was something like 112 to 30.

Bobby Knight was sitting in the post game interview and said something off the record that I still remember, and wish he had said it ON the record.... or at least on tape.

Beating a vastly inferior team is like F***ing your sister. You get your thing off, but you feel guilty afterward.

Everybody in the room laughed, but nobody used it in their coverage.

How's that for a coach story?
