Color combinations

Whats your favourite color combination?.

As a novice designer, I m fascinated with white and blue color. Additionally, I always tend to use the combinations of red and yellow and black and yellow.

What are some of your favourite color combinations and why?

PS: I choose yellow and black because thats my boyfriends favourite color combination. God knows why?!

Black and blue I guess considering I do love my dark themes, especially for forums. Yellow and black is quite a nice combination although I've never used them for a website.

Just off the top of my head: chocolate brown and burnt orange, pretty much any color and black, dark brown and tan, pale yellow with gray, mustard yellow with maroon, and muted green with navy blue.

For me it depends on what the theme is. For my craft site I wanted something loud and fun so I chose oranges and yellows. I'm getting bored of looking at it though and want to change it soon.

Blue is my favorite color so I mostly lean in that direction and have to force myself to stop using it everywhere!

I think that I read that yellow and black will get the attention of your eye moreso than any other color combination!

I think I always work best with purple/blue/pink, and I definitely do dark themes better than light ones. But honestly it really comes down to the theme of the site.

I tend to lean more towards lighter color combinations myself.
