I've often wondered how and why someone's house gets robbed, and while this article has left me with more questions than it has answers in some regards it has helped me out a little too.
I was aware that houses being burgled while someone is home is relatively common (albeit scary, as 'robberies gone wrong' have resulted in murder on numerous occasions.) and it's quite frankly always been in the back of my mind as something of a fear of mine. For the sake of my own and my families safety. Not so much any of our possessions.
Anyway, here's the article.
Perhaps it could help you out too?
