Have you ever participated in a contest or a competition?

(not on the internet, I mean out in the real world)



If so, what was it? Did you win?

I sold candy when I was in elementary school. There were prizes for those who sold the most so I suppose you could say it was sort of like a competition. The top seller one some big fancy price (dont remember what it was).. I remember I won a ride in a stretch limousine to Mc Donalds and a free lunch. lol



Whenever they say Be caller 100 now on the radio I call in to try to win whatever the prize is but I never win.

yeah my experiences with contests/competitions is not very exciting.

I entered Young Writers -- Shakespeare Contest. I had to submit a short story play to them, and even though I didn't win, they reviewed it and told me that they really liked it. They stated that the only problem with mine was that the screen play wouldn't be possible in a theater atmosphere, because it took place at a theme park.
