What places on earth do you think are cool?
I'm intrigued by the 4 corners of the country, the only place where 4 states borders meet, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah.

Although it's been a massive methane hotspot, the worst in the entire world, for over 6 months now, supposedly because of fracking or such.... but I still find the 4 corners phenomenon interesting:) that at one point on the ground you can be in 4 states at once:)

Also I'm interested in extreme points on the earth....

Below is from Wikipedia. I'm a complete geek....

"
1A 1995 realignment of the International Date Line ([1]) moved all of Kiribati to the Asian side of the Date Line, causing Caroline Island to be the easternmost. However, if the previous Date Line were followed, the easternmost point would be Tafahi Niuatoputapu, in the Tonga Islands chain."

It is a fascinating topic, we could include:

Most Active Volcano... which... Depends.

either

They both are fascinating! Scary asallhell but definitely fascinating! :)

Another extreme not on your list.

Tallest Mountain, which also Depends.

Most say:

But there is reasonable and fairly convincing argument for:

Depending on HOW measured, and to some degree, even WHEN measured, either Everest (top) or K2 (bottom) is the tallest from Sea Level on Earth.

Perhaps you prefer something drier?

Death Valley, California.

It is NOT the driest place on Earth.
North America? Yes, by far, and has a podium finish in the larger contest.

But this:

Atacma Desert of South America leads it by a fair stretch....

BUT then again, These:

The Dry Valleys of Antarctica beat even the Atacama.
