Come summer the beaches of Mumbai will be loaded with hawkers selling corn on cob. The corn will be roasted on live coals and then get a rub of lime, salt and chilli powder. A delicious snack enjoying with the sound of waves as company

Is that called Street Corn then?

Ours is really good around July where I live and that's when it's cheapest too. We just simmer it for 10 minutes then add butter.

I mostly just take a knife and cut my corn off of the cob. I prefer to eat it with a fork or a spoon.

You might call it street corn as it is sold by hawkers along the beach

I love corn on a cob. It is what my old folks do during the summer vacation. I just missed my old folks because we seldom do this now.
