Many people eat corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day (March 17th).

Two questions:

  • Will you be eating corned beef and cabbage?
  • Do you like corned beef and cabbage?

I do not like corned beef and cabbage even though I'm half Irish.

I've never understood what a traditional Jewish meat and a vegetable that was popular during Roman times in Southern Europe has to do with an Irish Catholic feast day.

But, all that aside, I like it, but I don't go out of my way to make it.

Besides, these days, good corned beef, which, incidentally has NOTHING to do with Maize (corn), is more expensive than it's really worth.
