This has been a thing locally for me now as well. Local shops and public areas are now asking people to wear a non-medical grade mask when physical distancing is not possible.

I carry a few masks in the glove box of my car. You just never know :).

Masks are going to be required to be worn on public transport over here in the UK. Other than that, it's up to you whether you want to wear one for now anyway. Going to need to get myself a reusable one soon.

This feels like old news but different places around the world have gone on and off, idk what anyone says though, the few times I go out I'm wearing a mask.

They aren't recommending facemasks to people in Sweden, which is scary really and because of this in weeks I have only seen a handful of people wearing them. I am worried about this as I feel like I am going to have issues with locating a mask for my flight and my return to the UK where masks are becoming mandatory on public transport.

The masks won't make you immune to the virus but they sure as hell can help in situations in instances of small and confined spaces, or maybe even against those ignorant people who disregard these rules and stand too close.

Here’s an update it’s now mandatory to wear masks in my town.

For public transit and in areas where physical distancing is difficult a mask is mandatory where I am.
