Do we need so many countries in the world?

Would the world be better with more or fewer countries?

What is the most beautiful country in the world?

I've only been to one, the one I live in. I think its neat that we have a lot of different countries in the world. Each country has its own unique culture and way of doing things.

only time i ever left the USA was on a family vacation... to the exotic country of Canada... back in the 60s. at that time, no passport or other documents needed. we went to the Canada side of Niagara Falls.

have zero desire to ever go on vacation to a country where the water isn't safe to drink and you're advised to NEVER leave the grounds of the resort.

that first question... "do we need so many countries?" just plain silly!

I wish it was still that way, I'd be going to Canada and mexico all the time.

Do we need so many? Well, a lot of countries formed in response to breaking away from other countries that oppressed their people, or when large events happened, such as when India and Pakistan split into two countries. Would they be better off back together? No. So yeah, we probably need the countries we have, all things considered.

I've been to a few countries, born in the UK, visited all four countries there, spent time in Finland, been to the Republic of Ireland and have moved around many places. Countries are fun, beautiful, full of history.
