Do curfews keep teens out of trouble?

No. They existed in my town, no cops ever bothered to enforce them.

I suppose in theory they would work. Lets face it, some parents aren't parenting properly and someone needs to control these out of control teenagers roaming the streets all hours of the night.

I don't think so, never had one myself. Of course I never went anywhere anyway lol.

No. They allow teens to be caught more easily, but it will not prevent them from getting in trouble. Curfews, unless administered by the parents, are rather ineffective, and even in the case of the parents they can be ineffective.

I suppose teens can do just as much damage during the day light.
