What's your current living situation?

For me: I own a home and live alone.

How about you?

I live alone and I rent a 2 bedroom duplex.

My ex bro-in-law lives/works downstairs and I rent the top of the house, which has 3 bedrooms. My niece Ashley also lives upstairs with me :)

I rent a small 1 bedroom appartment in a bad neighbourhood. Not like in the US where they have drive-by shooting fun every weekend, but still a few stabbings every year.

Those all probably happen in the middle of the night?

I've lived in bad neighborhoods myself and it seems like you're safer in the daylight.

Live with my parents. As much as I'd love to live alone, quality of living would drop too drastically at this current time.

I can relate. I was kicked out at 18 and it was rough those first couple years. Was making less money back then. Don't get me wrong, life is still a struggle now and I don't make enough to be comfortable with lots of extra spending money, but it's a little better.

Almost always yeah. But I really don't hear about all of them. It only gets reported in the news if it's a non-drug using white kid.

The worst part is more the ppl in my appartment block. Some deal drugs, some live there with their entire recently flown over african family, some seem regular families until the door closes and they scream at each other till the middle of the night... >_>

Have my own bedsit where I stay in the week. Most of the weekends I stay round mums though.

Live alone in a one-bedroom in the city. Do my two cats count? They live here, too. :D

After getting a divorce, I moved out of the house me and my ex husband shared, but had nowhere to go... was me and my two kids. My parents took us in. We shared 1 room for a while. My mom got really sick. We found out it was stage 4 cancer and she went downhill in 4 months. I stayed around to help dad with mom cause my dad was a wreck. Then after she died... he was an even bigger wreck and couldn't leave him like that. I'd like to move out, but I'm afraid to because my dad is old and losing his mind. Just the other day I he was watching my son for me while I did some errands and when I got home... my son was here alone! When I called my dad and questioned this, he said he forgot my son was here.

Well good on you for being there for him. :)

If he gets worse off mentally, are you going to put him in a convalescent home?

I'm not sure really. If it comes to the point where he needs to be in a place that can monitor him and care for him, then that's where he will be going. If it's just forgetting a few things, I just won't put my son on him as a responsibility.
