It's almost time to set your clocks forward an hour in accordance with daylight saving time 2013 to better take advantage of sunny hours during the coming warm months.

Daylight saving time, or DST, demands that most Americans and Canadians set their clocks forward one hour on March 10, as noted by timeanddate.com. At 2 a.m. on that date, simply turn your clock's hour hand -- or adjust your digital display -- so that it instead reads 3 a.m.

March 31 for everyone in Europe.

Spring's coming!

so if I have this correctly, for a few weeks there will be one less hour between Europe and N America. Right?

I dread the time change. It takes me at least a week to get accustomed to it. One less hour sleep unless I go to bed one hour earlier. That ain't happening!

Plus all the clocks I have to reset. How many do I have? Well, here you go:

Kitchen: Coffee pot, oven and microwave

Living room: Grandfather clock and a stereo

Bedroom: Alarm clock and backup alarm clock

Office: Wall clock

Mudroom: Wall clock

Vehicles: Truck and car clocks

Why the hell do I need so many clocks?

I forgot one more. My wristwatch!

@EE: How many clocks do you have in your house?

Hmm... counting only the clocks that actually get used, around eight.

I'll change my wristwatch and leave it at that. The only other clocks I use should update themselves.

Would be great if all clocks did that!

Daylight savings times didnt effect me this year. Sometimes losing an hour really messes with my sleep and my head. lol

I suppose because it was the weekend and I could sleep as long as I wanted anyway. Had nothing to do that day.
