Time to "fall back" as Daylight Savings time is upon us.

Growl.
Well, except this is switching back to standard time but the principle still holds. There really is no good reason for shifting time like this anymore and I find it increasingly problematic as I age. It's like picking up an hour of jet lag without actually having a trip to enjoy . Ontario actually has passed legislation to switch to year-round DST (which is not ideal, IMHO, but beats changing twice a year) but it's conditional on Quebec and the neighbouring US states changing so no sign of it actually being implemented any time soon.

Incidentally, the Canadian province of Saskatchewan (I think we have a member from there but forget who) doesn't change clocks and hasn't for as long as I can remember.

Ain't that the truth?! Maybe the powers that be are just trying to keep us "seasoned citizens" tuned up.

I have no clue about Canadian government; but, in the US we're supposed to have "states rights"......what the hell ever happened to that idea? We (Washington State) has cleared the State legislature in favor of staying on DST. That's nice; but noooooooo....not until it clears the U.S. Congress. In other words, "never gonna happen". :verymad: Personally it matters not which side is chosen, just stop the moronic changing.

btw: Yes, at least two I think... @freakofnature & @riseabovethis.

I'm way ahead of y'all.
