Dentists ... Why are they so expensive even with good insurance?

I know... most medical-related places are insanely expensive. At least in the USA. I wish I could move somewhere that dental and medical are significantly cheaper, but unfortunately, I can't afford to move anywhere else at the moment! I've spent over $10k on dental stuff, and we are only like 75% done. I cannot wait to finish the stupid dentist stuff so I can be like "cya never!" (except the every 6 months cleaning they want me to do)

Yeah dentists are a money making scheme for sure. But just remember that you are the boss when it comes to your care. If you feel you can put off certain things until January when your insurance resets then do that.

Just another way to separate medical issues and force people to pay even more. Why is vision separate as well as dental? It's all part of the body.

Overpriced as hell. It's 250 dollars at this place I go to, just to get my teeth cleaned.
