A new attachment for the iPhone turns your device into an original Nintendo Gameboy, into which you can insert the same cartridges that gave you hours of fun as a child.
SmartBoy is designed by Hyperkin and slots neatly onto your iPhone 6 Plus, giving you the same experience that you would playing the 1989 model – except with a backlight and no need for double-A batteries.
Hyperkin’s product developer Chris Gallizzi told The Daily Dot he wanted to ‘create a retro device… easily adapted into any modern gamer’s arsenal of devices.’
And if you’re one of those people who hasn’t boarded the Apple train then don’t fear – Gallizzi said the team is experimenting with Android and Windows handsets, too.
