(I sure hope I placed this in the right place, but....If not, then please forgive me, and let me know where it goes, Thanks!)

Phillippians 2:14-15

Do without murmurings and disputings: (15) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world...

How many of us follow this? Do we live our lives daily in doing this very thing? If you're anything like me, though a Christian, you sometimes don't act it....You fall into the murmurings and disputings.....

This list pretty much describes us:

We all complain Naturally, it doesn't have to be Taught.

We all think we have the Right to be Critical of far too many things.

We all assault the Word and Control of God when we complain.

We all show our Selfishness and lack of Maturity when we complain.

What must we do?

Well here are some verses that are very helpful....

A.

James 5:9 (Do not hold grudges, lest we be condemned)

1 Corinthians 10:9-10 (Do not tempt Christ, or show murmurings) Some did, and were condemned.

Philippians 2:3 ( Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory)

B.

1 Peter 5:7 (Cast all our cares upon Him)

Psalms 55:22 (Cast our burdens upon the Lord)

1 Corenthians 10:13 (There has been no temptation take you but such as is common to man)

C.

1 Peter 4:9 (Use Hospitility)

As you can see, the verses are not complete...You'll need to look up and read....

If we can follow the Word, and obey the Father, we can overcome....We can quit being like other people, and become more like Jesus.....

Still, we need to remember, that we are not perfect...Can never be perfect, but we can change our way of actions, and thinking.....Just by remembering that we are no better....For what we speak out against, we could very well be guilty of what we accuse others of......

So....Let us lay it all at the feet of Jesus, and allow Him to work through us....Allow others to see Him through you.....

God Bless!

bless you too...

Well. If you didn't understand it, then, that tells me you're not Christian, that's fine...No problem from me on that, although I don't care for the language.....

On my other sites I have a rule, be nice or be blocked....Don't know if I can do that here though...

So.....I guess I'll just have to say....It's your problem, not mine....

I'm not a Christian, but I understand it fine. I don't agree with it, but I understand it.

That's a funny remark since you started this topic....
What cracked me up:  "  If you didn't understand it, then, that tells me you're not Christian"...Talk about BS.

Really?  Were you able to understand it?  I mean, after all, it's written in English, with Bible verses put in, and he tells me, "could you please translate that from bullshit into plain english."

What this tells me, is that he's either agnostic, or atheist......

Now, I don't mind his response, I don't even mind receiving this response from you.....And guess what?  Your response is telling me the same thing, his has.....

Thank you for responding....

@ Smooth....My Study Bible is King James Version.....But I have other Bibles....The NIV, which I no longer use. The Living Testament (Paraphrased). I did have the American Standard, but donated it to a charity, that were collecting Bibles to give in other Countries....Going to replace that one soon.....
