Did you stream on Mixer before it closed?

When I started streaming, it was back in October 2017 when I started streaming on Mixer which was a streaming platform run my Microsoft. I streamed on there from 2017 - 2020 when they announced their closure in June 2020 and finally closed their doors to all streamers in July 2020 directing everyone over to Facebook Gaming. I was gutted when Mixer closed as I had met so many awesome people on Mixer, some of which no longer stream anymore after the close of Mixer and others who even now after nearly 3 years still struggle.

Did you stream on Mixer before it closed? How did you like Mixer?

I was considering it, but decided against it. I personally liked the idea of Mixer but am not shocked to see it was shut down.

I loved Mixer. I streamed ocassionally on there, but I've made so many friends there during my time there. Some that I now consider extended family and even have their phone numbers. I wish it succeeded, it had so much potential.... it's a shame Microsoft mishandled it.

Mixer was quite an interesting concept and idea. It is sad they shut down! Microsoft could have done so much more with it.
