As a highly mentally and physically disabled person. I've worked as a secretary-typist from 20-25 years old to be on disability. Doesn't pay extras, but it pays the bills and I'm grateful for that. There's a single day that I don't thank the stars that I have disability.
 
Glad your monthly benefits are enough for you to be able to pay your bills.
 
Might be shocked for most people but I do have a disabled myself that I do not share, but even that I'm not working as of yet. I can do work and have no problems working.
 
In my country, disability grants are not enough to cover everything they need. That is a sad fact about being disabled here.
