Are your parents divorced?

How old were you when they got divorced?

Who got custody of you?

Do you visit your mother or father? If so, how often?

Due to your parents divorcing, has that changed your views on marriage?

Yes, my parents have been divorced since December 1995 (that makes me six when it happened, and I also remembered the day my dad walked out and my mum getting very stressed over it). Of course, my mum got custody of me and my brother.

I hardly knew my dad anyway. He wasn't a bad man... what caused the marriage to be torn apart was when he selfishly walked out when he couldn't cope with our conditions we've been diagnosed with (me with Aspergers, my brother with autism) and felt embarrassed over it.

Yes my parents are divorced. I was like 14 when it happened. I was very sad and I cried a lot. I never thought that this could happen to me. Of course my mom got costudy. My dad visits me like 5 times in a year. I felt very bad when the girls from my class asked me if this was true because they knew that my parents divorced but I had no idea how. After I met my boyfriend I felt better and now I can talk about this without crying. My mom now is with somebody else and they got married last summer. I like her new husband.
