I believe that cats have different personalities and they different in many cases. Some cats are aloof and some of the are simply scared of humans. Some of them are really attached to humans. So, do cats have different personalities or are they basically the same?

Cats certainly have different personalities. Some cats are shy and some cats are really aggressive. However, I have noticed that majority of the cats are aloof and afraid of humans. This is specifically true for stray cats.
