Do you believe in ghosts?

When I was younger, I was super into everything paranormal. Constantly watching ghost hunter shows, going on the computer at school just to sit there and read people's ghost stories, etc. I've mellowed out on it as time has gone on and am not quite sure if I believe in the stuff FULLY anymore. I'd still lean towards yes but it's definitely not as sure as I was at one time. Do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not?

I've had some creepy experiences, but just chalk them up to "coincidental".
The whole paranormal realm is fascinating; but, I guess I'm pretty skeptical.

We do not live in a mundane universe.

But "ghosts" as depicted in the movies are, while not totally beyond the realm of possibility, they would be a vanishingly small minority of paranormal phenomenon.

Residual energy, inhuman entities, "nature" spirits, and so on, yes. They are out there.

The "Wild Hunt" of legend goes all the way back to the dawn of collective human memory.

Our Ancestors saw something in the sky that defied explanation. And it was seen Everywhere, and includes the "Flying Dutchman" of song and story, when 'the hunt' goes to sea.

While 'the riders' were most likely NOT "ghosts", then what in the hell were they? (all puns included at no extra charge)

The Burden of Proof rests on the person making the claim. If you make the claim that something exists without providing sufficient evidence for it, you accept the Burden of Proof to "prove it" and it is not anyone else's responsibility but yours alone. When someone says they don't believe in something, they are not making a claim. That person is saying that they are unconvinced. I am unconvinced that ghosts exist.

I as much as said that what is usually refered to as a Standard Issue "Ghost", see movie by that name, most likely does not exist. On that point, we all but agree.

I once felt a ghost brush up against me... or something. It was in a super old building so I assume it was a ghost. I was all alone and nothing was in the room with me.

Do I really believe? I dunno.
