How often do you buy extra controllers for your console?

Any time I buy a console, I always buy a second controller for my wife. Then, before too long, I will buy a third controller when I start to see one controller showing wear and tear.

Not really a lot. I did get an extra controller for my PS5 only because the sales guy wouldn't shut up about buying one.

How often do you buy extra controllers for your console?

i do at times, only do it whenever my joystick or trigger does overtime wear itself out, suck it does it but it's part of its own life cycle
