When you meet people, does their appearance have any effect on you?

No, i respect people for who they are and not what they look like.

Well if they look like someone who's stupid and doesn't like Pink Floyd then yes, it has an effect on me. Otherwise I'd like to get to know them first.

if it means to a person that I would be interested in then yes, but if it is just people in general to make friends.. I would say naah. I'm friendly to everyone.

Im not talking about someone you are interested in possibly dating. Just meeting new people in general.

It only matters to me if the person looks like a crack head. As in... very skinny, track marks up and down their arms, they cant stop shaking / moving / scratching themselves.. etc..

Then I will probably be slightly judgemental.

I do, If they look like idiots 9x/10 they are, I won't judge them though untill i've got to know them.

I don't really care about it. Don't really see a huge point in doing so.

I wouldn't make judgement on their looks, but rather their body language instead.

yes, looks matter to me.

Anyway, if I am hiring a person to work for me--he better look like he knows what he's doing.--whether it's in an office or as a handyman. If I go to a grocery or restaurant, I expect them to look presentable.

Appearance is important, no matter how much we say it isn't.

When you go to a party, you don't automatically drift over and talk to someone that looks like a homeless person.

Has anyone seen that show Dating in the Dark? It's on Living in the UK. That was pretty funny and interesting. Some people who got on really well just didn't want to know once they had seen them in the light.
