Did you ever learn how to drive? If yes, how old were you when you learned?

I do.

I didn't for a very long time (not until I was 25-years-old, in fact). I am 27 now, turning 28 in February.

I used to have really bad panic attacks. I still have a lot of issues with anxiety, but I have managed to limp my way through life (found a wife, bought a house, etc.). Truth was, what I needed was someone to teach me, and I didn't have anybody to. Eventually, when my older brother took it upon himself to do so, it took only a couple months for me to become street legal and the rest is history.

I still don't drive great distances (just to and from work, and a couple other places), but I am improving everyday and going further and further; it's a process.

I learned when i was 12. I was always tall and i could manage to reach the brake, clutch.. etc.

But it wasn't until i turned 20 or so that i could actually drive a car by myself, my mom wouldn't let me because of reasons and dad bought me one so i could go to college.

Anyway, it's been a long time since i'm a driver!

I got my license when I was 23 (I think) and I'm 33 now, so I've been driving for a decade.

I've got my learners but don't currently do any lessons. The amount of idiots already on the roads really does surprise me. :o

I can, but I'm anxious all the time...

I grew up in a pretty rural area where it was a 25-minute drive to a general store and you needed to take a trip on the highway to get to a Walmart, so driving started as having to avoid bears and more importantly, crazy rural traffic to walk anywhere got old fast.

Started driving when I was 10. My grandma taught me on a old van that had a 3 on the tree. :)

10?!?! Thats crazy!

I got my permit when I was 15, license at 16. My grandpa paid for professional classes and behind the wheel training too as a birthday present.

Yes I do drove and I stated driving when I was 16 with my permit.
