Ditto. However, last time I had highlights was a couple years ago. I've had brown highlights in my hair before to give it that dirty blonde look so it would be cool & get people wondering if I'm a brown with blonde highlights or a blonde with brown highlights.

I dont at the moment but I have done in the past. I've dyed it pillar box red a few times and blue once and purple once, but I didnt peroxide my hair first (I have brown hair) so it was never too bright, it just looked red or blue or purple when the light caught it really

My hair's naturally blonde, but a few years ago, I started putting brown in it.

(I also want a discreet tattoo, a driver's license and get into 18+ concerts. Not happening.)



But I heard that if you dye your hair, you never get your original hair colour back. Don't want to risk that.

If you use semi permanent dye your original colour will definitely come back. I'm pretty sure with permanent it will too.

You're hair grows, so yeah--it really doesn't matter if you get permanent or semi-permanent. Eventually, you're hair will grow out. (if you want it to be the original color again, it will look strange while it's growing out) And if you want blue hair, be careful. If you have a dark hair color originally, dying it blue will cause a lot of damage. They'll have to bleach out the color (like black or dark brown) then add the pigment back in. You'd be better off, paying more and getting some colored extensions put in.

I've never dyed my hair, and don't plan to. I'm fine with my hair color the way it is.
