It probably is exactly a waste of time; a lot of the time, though, I will consider 'reviews' before buying something. Realizing, of course, that that source has a great possibility/probability of being inaccurate. And/or written by nutbars.Very rarely. I've written a couple on amazon and yelp but that was years ago. Seems like a waste of time.
Yeah and sometimes the positive ones are written by the manufacturers of the products themselves posing as customers. Either that or they hired people to write good reviews on the products. It probably is exactly a waste of time; a lot of the time, though, I will consider 'reviews' before buying something. So you only leave positive reviews and no bad ones? Such a gentleman!Sometimes on Google towards restaurants or other business'. I try to leave good reviews to help them out. The bad ones I don't bother because their bad service speaks for itself.
Seems like a waste of time doesn't it? ...but I suppose it makes some people feel better to vent.Never, even if the product is extremely bad or downright nonfunctional.
I think an exaggerated review for attention which would be upvoted to the top, so it's highlighted for everyone to see, would be one use I'd go for.Seems like a waste of time doesn't it? ...but I suppose it makes some people feel better to vent.

I sometimes like reading reviews for recreation. As I am curious about what other people think. Although I most commonly do this with books. That is a good possibility.
If you're like me, you skim reviews and look for the good and bad. But I also buy from places that have a good return policy (like amazon, wal mart, costco, ebay). If its not right they'll fix it and give me my money back. Other sites I have struggled to get a refund and been flat out denied.
