What do you grill & how often do you do it? Do you prefer gas or charcoal?

We have a gas grill. My husband didn't have much luck with charcoal the time he tried it. Things were a bit more burnt than we would have liked :) I'd say we grill a few times a week. All year long. We've done meats, peppers, mushrooms, zucchini. Haven't tried watermelon. I know many have but I'm not sure about it lol

I don't grill that's my husband's area. Mainly because I don't like being uncomfortable (being too cold or too hot) I'm a bit temperature sensitive lol I really enjoy grilled/smoked foods though!

I've grilled a few times in the past on an old charcoal grill. Mostly burgers and hot dogs.

Do you prepare the meat at all like with a marinade or something?

I like how my husband molds his own burgers for grilling and he's not shy about using spices and onion.

Making an amazing barbecue is one of the first things you learn as a male over here, i admit i don't do it very often but.. charcoal all the way! :P

Oh yes charcoal over gas any day! I love grilled salmon over a cedar plank.

Nothing like cooking breakfast over a campfire though - absolutely delicious. (But that might fall under a different topic) lol

I grill 3-5 days a week year round, using charcoal. 22" Weber kettle grill.

The secret of a good grilled meat is the ember, if you cook slowly with it the results will be amazing! Also salting your meat/fish first is also recommended.

Love to grill, we do most of our cooking on it during the summer.

We tend to cook meats in batches when we grill too. Gotta make the most of the charcoal/wood after all!

Nope, I do not grill that often other then when I'm grilling :P

I prefer grilling pork and fish. These foods make me feel like I am in heaven, especially when I use some delicious dips when eating them.

Not often but I do grilled my Turkey, chicken and fish. I have a nice time doing this
