No. Whenever I meet somebody new, I'm like an open book. I don't hide secrets, and I tell people don't expect me to hide anything for you. Secrets cause unnecessary stress, and if you accidentally release a secret, it does damage the relationship. So, I just keep my life simple, and I don't keep any secrets. But, at the same time, I don't go and blab gossip about people either. With that in mind, if I'm directly asked about something, yes, I'll spill the beans.
Why? Because many years ago, I did keep secrets, and the amount of drama and stress that it caused in my life, nearly lead me down to having a nervous breakdown. It takes way too much energy to compartmentalize all that information. There is one caveat though, if it's a surprise (meaning a temporary secret, then I'm okay with it.
