Do you remember your dreams? ...or do you forget them after you wake up?

My mother used to keep a notepad next to her bed and write them down when she woke up.

And some of them turn into short stories, or even the occasional book.

I don't always remember them the minute I wake as I sometimes don't even know where I am. But after I've woken up I start to remember them. I can remember dreams I had years ago too.

Oh, yes, this was a dream too.

And it was the kind of dream that was so real, that when I went to write the story, it was as if it had really happened and I was just a reporter again, documenting the event.

I sometimes remember them. But usually I remember scary dreams more.

Most of the time I remember them, but since this month I've been forgetting most of them each time I wake up. Don't know what happened...

I also keep a record of what dreams I had, from the past five years

Not usually. My dreams are really messed up and when I wake up from them I will usually forget them. Though there are times when I can recall what happened in my dreams later in the day and then very rarely, after I just wake up.
