I do these as much as possible in my own home because I'm a maniac of recycling, repairing and reusing. I also personally do compost as much as I can with food and drinks and other things that can be made into compost. And you personally? Are you eco-friendly?

We Recycle but we also do Reuse, Rethink. We go out of our way because people tend to think, Oh it's just one. Well, if a million people thought that, that's now one million pieces of trash!
We use canvas bags for the store. Restaurants we bring our own containers, napkins, even straws. Yes, it can be cumbersome & I can't control others, but I can limit what I do for myself & my own family.
I've always been into the environment & being eco-friendly as well as holistic living (which goes hand in hand with these).

Nope. I gave up on recycling when I learned that the number one country that we send our plastics to for recycling dumps them into the ocean. So I just pitch all of my bottled water into the garbage to get burned at a landfill.

With a population of approximately 30,000 nesting females, China is dumping 2.6 times the weight of the country’s entire leatherback sea turtle population of plastic into the sea,” the research found. Indonesia, Brazil, and Thailand round out the top five.

I have been doing this for years now. I wanted to reduce the carbon footprint that is destroying our mother earth. In this small way, I can contribute to saving it.
