Do you see Alexa rank?

Hey guys while buying are selling forums would you check alexa rank ? And do you think the ranking system used in Alexa is good?

Ive never bought or sold a forum so I wouldnt be able to answer that.



I think it doesnt matter with a forum though, you should look at the activity and the userbase.



Also see what type of community it is and if it will be accepting of their forum being sold and bought out.

Sometimes it doesnt matter and sometime several people leave the forum in question / it goes on a downward spiral leading to closure.

I find it interesting checking Alexa Ranks, it's a good little thing to have, it doesn't mean too much, but it means something and sometimes can be a good selling point.

Yes i do see my forum's alexa rank once in a while. But I have to agree with Nebulous , what is important is your forum stats.

now a days no one sees alexa ranks or google page ranks now every one is focused on seos
