Do you still own an iPod?

Yes. I have it on a plinth as an example for my Creative devices on how NOT to be, in the same way I have my old iPhone 3GS on one as an example for my Blackberry and Android devices on how NOT to be too.. LOL

Kidding aside, I am not going to lie my iDevices were good, until they broke and I quickly realized that I had been in a cult.. I used to be a big Apple fan, until I learned of the other devices like my Zen Vision M and Xi-fi MP3 players.. before that I truly believed that Apple was cutting edge where their devices were concernee and it simply wasn't true..

When I learned that these players had all the built-in features that Apple devices required dongles for or otherwise didn't exist, and Apple kept gaslighting their customers about how great and innovative their devices were, I then came to the realization that Apple not only thinks their customers are stupid, (this came out in the Apple v. Samsung trials years ago) but actually banks on it, I realized then just how full of shit they really were as a company and it wasn't hard to move on from that when I learned the truth.

I still have my iPod which was 32gb and my 3GS, but I would like to see if I could flash Android on them just for curiosity's sake.

I plan on getting as big of an SS HDD as I can and replacing the 2.5" HDDs in them with that since I still use both my Creative players to this day on road trips..

I might end up doing the same with my old iDevices too but parts are expensive and to be honest, the effort involved would not be worth the result as the device would still be very limited compared to the others.. I would still have to purchase a dongle for AM/FM radio..

I do! I don't use it, though. My phone is my music player and it's usually connected to the bluetooth in my car so I can listen to my Spotify playlist.

No. I pretty much abhor Apple products. I got an Ipod for Christmas back in 2007 that quit working on the first day I had it and I never bothered getting a replacement.

I have an iPod Nano sitting in a box somewhere but I haven't used it in many years.

I've never had one. The last music thinga-majig I owned was a discman. lol
