I have this habit of always washing the dish that I have finished eating with immediately without packing it in the sink. There are some people who are always going to pack a lot of them until they are a heap of a mountain before they will start watching them.

I feel like it makes my kitchen smell and that is the reason why I wash them immediately.

Most of the time, before I sit down to eat, the kitchen is spotless and everything is in its place. The only things left out are the plates and utensils needed to set the table. Since it's usually just me eating, I don't bother setting the table and just use the kitchen bench. So, it's just my plate, glass, and a few small items.

I can't eat if the kitchen is a mess. While cooking, I clean as I go, so by the time I finish, there's hardly anything left to clean. The only exceptions are items that need to be cleaned after the meal. I wash my plate immediately after eating because there’s usually nothing else left to wash.

Even if there are more than just my plate, I wash them immediately. I can't stand seeing anything in the sink, not even a single glass. I even wash my coffee cup right after finishing and put it back where it belongs. I know, I'm a bit obsessive.

No, just give them a cursory rinse & put them in the dishwasher & save them in there until I get a full load.

Yes, I don't like anything dirty in the sink. As I cook, I'm washing dishes so there's less clean up later on.

I have been immediately washing my dishes for the last 4 and half years. I started during my divorce when I moved into a different apartment. It had a mild roach problem that was dealt with by the landlord. To keep it from getting worse, I washed my dishes, didn't leave food lying around, and made sure the trash was always taken out.

I don't live alone, so usually when I start cooking, I have to start by clearing the table and cooking top. Then I do dishes as far as I get during cooking (obviously I can't do what I'm using, and if there's too much beforehand, I don't get everything done either).
After dinner, I usually have already moved out of the kitchen (I rarely eat together with the rest), so, no, I do the remaining dishes later. I usually return during the night to do a last sweep of the kitchen.

For ones we hand wash (cookware and utensils, mostly) we don't have much at breakfast and lunch so just save them up and do one big wash after dinner. Occasionally, if we do cooking at breakfast or lunch, then might do a load earlier. For the stuff we put in the dishwasher, same as @passenger.

Gosh no. I rarely wash them at all. Usually my mom or sister does them.

I tend to wash the dishes right after I use them or right after I eat. I don't like to collect dishes in the sink and I hate waking up with dishes in the sink. Lol
