Doctors call for car smoking ban

[font=tahoma, geneva, sans-serif]I'm not a smoker but to ban smoking in a private vehicle falls under invasion of privacy. What's next? The government will ban smoking in ones private home? Never going to happen and would love to know how they would enforce such a ban.

In the UK I don't think there's a separate doctorate about Privacy and the Invasion of it. I think it falls under the Human Rights from the EU. (Been studying law for the past few days, so I apologize for being pedantic

Even if this is implemented there's no physical way of enforcing it.

Indeed... this isn't going to happen unless we get telescreens everywhere

Never will be enforced. It's impossible. If people want to smoke, they will. There's a point where a ban is in the public interest, and a breach of freedom.
