Three white tiger cubs have been adopted by an unusual surrogate after being rejected by their mother.

A wildlife park in China's Xinjiang Province brought in a dog to nurse the cubs after they were abandoned at birth.

Keepers have also begun feeding the one-month tigers minced meat mixed with milk powder to supplement their diets.

White tigers are very rarely found in the wild. They are related to the Indian Bengal tiger and get their unusual colouring from a mutant gene.
