Who does the dishes in your house? Do you use a machine or do them by hand?

I do the dishes and always by hand. I have a dish washer but have never even turned it on

I do em by hand. Not that I have many now a days since I usually just use paper plates.

I use paper plates too Sci most of the time. Dead give away as to we both must be single

Lol. Plus, they are so much easier to use and less hassle to clean.

My mom does the dishes and she does them by hand. I know how to do some dishes and would like to start helping her soon. But of course I'd like to wait until I feel better first...

I do the dishes. My 6 year old isnt going to do them.

Maybe in a couple years I will trust her to wash them without worrying about anything getting broken.

We all do, not at the same time though

Generally it's my family who does them. By hand. We have a dishwasher but...actually I don't know if it's a dishwasher or not, it just looks like a white chunk of metal to me.

At home we have a machine, in my dorm I do it by hand.

Washing machines are not time savers in my opinion. They do nothing but run up the electricity bill and you have to sometimes run the machine more than once if the dishes are still dirty. Sometimes you have to scrub the dish before you put it in the machine so you can be sure that it will be clean when the cycle is done. Whats the point? I can wash a sink full of dishes by hand in less time than it takes for the machine to do it and I KNOW its clean because I cleaned it.
