Have you ever donated money to a forum?

I have in the past. I cant really afford it nowadays though.



It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when people donate to Off Topix.

I keep any donated money in my paypal account and whenever I need to pay for something for the forum (hosting, domain renewals, etc) I will use whatever is there and the rest gets pulled from my bank account.

I bought premium membership on a forum before, but my paypal account was accessed by a third party, and they made a hefty transaction (I managed to stop it) so I don't use paypal now.

Nope then again I mostly frequent free hosted boards so I doubt I see anyone wanting money or really needing it for much of anything.

I do donate to boards who deserve it sometimes. If i am a member there a while and like/enjoy using the forum, i donate to it. However, i don't donate to boards who beg their members to donate.



I have made several donations to many forums including www.TopGearForum.info and www.ForuMansion.com
