Doodlebug the orphaned kangaroo loves his teddy beary beary much

This is Doodlebug. He’s an orphaned eastern grey kangaroo, and he loves his teddy beary beary much.

Doodlebug has be melting hearts all over the world, since Aussie media adviser Tim Beshara tweeted out the picture of him hugging his teddy earlier this week.

The little guy – who Tim initially mistook for a wallaby, silly Tim – has been in the care of Tim’s mother, Gillian, a wildlife-carer since he was orphaned.

Talking about Doodlebug’s rough start in life, Tim told MailOnline Australia: ‘He may have fallen out of his mother’s pouch or his mother may have died. He was a couple of months old when he was passed onto my mother’s wildlife company WIRES.’

Thankfully Doodlebug is now on the mend though, no doubt, in no small part thanks to his cuddle buddy.

Tim commented: ‘They seem to respond to the toys much in the same way as a toddler. They treat it as a companion.’

Too much cuteness!
