Dream interpreters?

Anyone hear into dreams? I need some counsel.



Last night I had this dream where a tsunami hit Austrailia, but it wasn't huge.. Anyway, I started running and then somehow managed to get over the other side of the island pretty quick and then started swimming and then found a boat and sped off. Weird.. My dreams are often like that. Anyway, that part of the dream isn't bugging me, I think that has alot to do with what has happened in Japan and the fact it is all over the news.



My dream changes to a canyon type setting and I see this massive Raven fly past (And I mean massive) I then call to it (in Raven Language) basiclly asking it to come back. The raven flys back round to me, It doesn't land just comes right in front of me and stares at me. I said allowed 'he's beautiful' (as in the Raven) The odd thing was I knew in my dream that it was trying to tell me something but I have no idea what. This part of the dream seems very significant. After a minute or so it just flys around, but doesnt land on anything and doesn't fly away.



I don't remember anything more after that. Maybe I woke up I can't remember.



Now I know I am a depressive and whatnot, But this seemed more of a warning.

I have read up what Raven's in dreams mean, I know they signify death, but also Betrayal, Unhappiness.



Does anyone have any thoughts on what this dream could mean... Or do you think it was simply just a dream?

I looked up Raven and here is the result:

To see a raven in your dream, symbolizes betrayal, disharmony, misfortune, and death. The death is a symbolic death in that it signals an end to a habit or phase in your life. Alternatively, the dream suggests that someone is taking advantage of your misfortune.

For myself, I consider dreams the reflection of something going on in my life or perhaps something I've seen or read. While I find the interpretations of dreams and their meanings interesting, I don't consider interpretations of dreams as predictions.

No, first time I have ever dreamt of one. Someone on another forum suggested that it might be my spirit guide/totem.



It would explain the significance of that part of the dream. and also I can't meditiate. You don't find your guides, your guides find you, So it makes sense.

A guide guides you through life, he or she helps you when they think you need guidance. They wouldn't nec. be leading me to something in particular.

I say, don't worry about it. Dreaming is an important function of the brain, but beyond that there is no reason to believe they have any influence on the universe outside of your mind.

I believe they do. Im actually rather intriuged about it now. Going to ask a few other people what they think.
