I do the opposite, I don't drink coffee because the first experience I had was straight black coffee and it was nasty. Haven't touched it since, lol
Yay! Someone else out there who doesn't like coffee! It seems to be super rare, lolI don't like coffee either. I've tried it with all the creamers and other stuff you add in but I just don't like the taste.
That may be because it's a DRUG? We all like our particular drug.Yay! Someone else out there who doesn't like coffee! It seems to be super rare, lol![]()
Fair point, it's quite addictive! That may be because it's a DRUG? We all like our particular drug.

Yep, same thing here! You should try this, you should drink that, it's so good...no thanks! I do like to mess with them a couple of times a year and grab a hot chocolate. It gets their hopes up because they think it's coffee, but nope. Liquid sugar!I know, people always try to get me to drink coffee because they all do.
Exactly how I felt! Awful taste!I tried coffee one day...

Absolutely agreed. I like what I like, I don't want to have to ingest something I don't like until I do. That's not really how taste works, lol.I hate when people say "its an acquired taste" ...if I have to learn to like something then why bother? I'd rather like stuff that appeals to me from the get-go.
Same argument can be applied when a child refuses to eat food whose taste and / or texture they don't like. Why should children bother to learn to "like" foods and liquids they don't like by default? They'd rather like stuff that appeals to them from the get-go, but, instead of acknowledging that argument, adult humans force them to eat & drink stuff they don't like and don't want to eat & drink.I hate when people say "its an acquired taste" ...if I have to learn to like something then why bother? Well, in fairness, kids are supposed to be exposed to a wide variety of foods, to expand their tastebuds while they're still developing. If they just stick to what they like they'll only ever eat macaroni and cheese and junk foodsSame argument can be applied when a child refuses to eat food whose taste and / or texture they don't like.
