I'll have a drink a couple times a week. I don't think I have a problem. I don't need to have a drink and I rarely drink alone. Plus I usually drink to get a buzz going, not full on wasted drunk belligerent.

I guess, all depends on how much you drink though. My father used to drink a bottle of wine every evening and it's never been a problem.

In any case he was always on time for the job and to pick up his kids and such.

Same, I can only really stand white wine as long as it's not too sweet.

My mum used to drink a bottle/bottle and a half of wine every night. She had a big problem, it affected our relationship and her behaviour. Thankfully she only has a glass a night now.

I do drink quite a bit but I know my limits and some nights I don't want anything.
Some people may see my drinking as a problem, My mum certainly has done in the past, but I'm in control

I don't drink but I had an ex that did. Wasn't bad at first. He'd have a beer or two a night. Then that escalated to 6 or more a night. He was nasty and violent when he was drunk. Last I heard, he lost his job and got busted for drunk driving (twice). Glad, he's out of my life.
